 Midwest Physical Therapy Center has developed a comprehensive program to treat individuals suffering from neuropathy. Neuropathy is a nerve disorder that results in pain, numbness and tingling, decreased strength, decreased balance, and greatly affects patients’ everyday life.
The comprehensive treatment program consists of
- Monochromatic Infrared Photo Energy Therapy (MIRE)
- Walking exercises
- Balance exercises
- Strength training
- Flexibility training
We work very closely with many area neurologists to continually update our protocols and treatment principals to ensure the most up to date treatments. Our therapists have assisted hundreds of patients suffering from neuropathy to return to a higher level of function. Most patients are treated three times per week for four to eight weeks.
